Whats' Be Happen? Sky Ferreira Although born under a CaliforniaHerbs pioneered Pacific reggae, establishing the sound on their landmark 1981 debut Whats' Be Happen? and Light of the Pacific. Beyond their musical innovation, they stood apart as an unapologetically political band during an era when most artists kept politics separate from their craft. Whats' Be Happen? remains a defining recording that shaped the reggae landscape.
