Laurent Ponsot Charmes-Chambertin Cuvée du Cyprès Grand Cru 2019 Organic Light on its feet93 BH Burghound, Allen Meadows Here the ripe and fresh nose derives more from the darker side of the fruit spectrum while adding nuances of cherry liqueur, warm earth and underbrush. There is very good detail and subtle minerality to the acceptably dense and relatively muscular flavors that deliver fine length on the mildly tangy finale. Very good if not truly distinguished.
