The Domaine Coillot

Knewitz, Holzfass Chardonnay 2020 Domaine Papaginnakos The Bodegas OntanonIf you love Meursault, you must try this. Intensely mineral aromas with a tightly focused nose of crisp, yellow citrus fruits and the flinty gun smoke that you find in great white Burgundies. Theres an arresting energy to the palate, which reverberates with tangy stone fruits and grapefruit tempered by a cool crme fraiche creaminess coming through on the long finish, which owes its persistence to the quality of the fruit and the prolonged lees ageing.
