Portrait 'Lady with Veil' Oil on Canvas John Rogers There is a tiny blemish

There is a tiny blemish just over the back of the chair

the central area has a desert scene showing a man holding a camel by a halter with date palms and three pyramids in the distance

there is evidence of some minor historic strengthening repair to the underside of one seat

The layering of the shell is built up over many years and it is difficult to date precisely

Portrait 'Lady with Veil' Oil on Canvas John Rogers There is a tiny blemishA striking early 20th Century oil on canvas portrait of a beautiful young lady. This antique oil painting is complimented by a lovely mellow frame with soft gold slip. The portrait is in good condition. This very attractive oil painting is signed with a red monogram, we are still trying to identify the artist. A very unusual painting to add decorative interest to any interior. c. 1900 Height: 18" (56cm) Width: 15. 75" (40cm) Canvas size: Height: 14"
