RP 99 - The Wine Advocate - Robert M
accented by dusty flowers
Roberto Voerzio Dolcetto d'Alba Priavino 2022 France This vineyard has shallow soilsThe vines are sourced from west facing vineyards in La Morra, grown predominantly on calcareous clay soils, where a continental climate ensures balanced ripening. Typically deep ruby in colour, the wine opens with notes of dark cherry, tobacco, leather and a hint of incense. The palate is both juicy and refined, with plum and black cherry framed by fresh, silky acidity and fine tannins.
