Still Daylight 45x90cm Oil On Canvas horses running highlighting the joy and spontaneityIn this Makiwa painting, the shoreline becomes a stage for lingering hourswhen the sun hangs on just a little longer and the day feels unspent. Figures move lightly across wet sand, their reflections blurring into colour and motion, echoing the freedom of unmeasured time. The loose, layered application of paint allows memory to surface rather than detail, capturing the quiet joy of play, warmth, and the soft pause before evening begins.
