Domaine de la Romanee Conti "La Tache" - 1994 White Lovely balance of sweetness andLa Tache 1994 from Domaine de la Romanee Conti is in a beautiful place at the moment. In the bouquet fine sweet red fruit ,cherries and strawberries, spiced with sous bois, peony rose, allspice and cinnamon. On the palate quite delicate ripe pinot fruit, the oak is a bit forward, but the transparency is fine with a nice expression of terroir. A very delicate and focused effort for the vintage a really enjoyable glass of La Tache.
