It spies a dry spot under a tree where another sheep has the good sense to sit and stay dry
I knew in that moment I just had to paint it one day
The golden glow from the big bright sunflowers represents the warm and fuzzy feeling this sheep feels right now
A fun and quirky piece of landscape art inspired by my love of blossom trees and particularly the colour pink
Stages In The Sky FRAME COLOUR:Dove Bevel It spies a dry spotArnside in the Lake District is the subject of this colourful painting. It was a dreary day but the sky was nevertheless dramatic as the pale sun set and the clouds seemed to form in layers of differing patterns and depths. I thought how beautiful it would look, brought to life with colour. This was my first big skies piece and only the second time I had really painted with soft pastel and I fell in love with it.
