Drawn completely out of my head from imagination
This Painted Wolf female was drawn mostly from imagination with a few looks at similarly posed dogs to work out skeletal and muscle positioning

Lone Blue (Brown Hyena) Keratin make up bagAcrylic and mixed media on canvas board 16" x 20" (approx 40 x 50cms) The beautiful, but elusive Brown Hyena is mainly a nocturnal predator and I have only ever caught a fleeting glance of a backside of one disappearing into the dust in Namibia. They are cracking animals to paint, especially in a low light which accentuates their hair and stripy legs. Worldwide shipping calculated at checkout
