black card pokemon Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Booster Display Box : Toys & Games this card is a deliberate callback to the original Zekrom chase card from the era Pokemon TCG Black Bolt Checklist:

While it is true that it's going to cost a lot if you're going to run out and buy an entire top-tier Modern deck with cards like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and evoke Elementals, the way the Magic Online economy works is that only a handful of tournament staples (especially Modern and Legacy staples) are expensive, while most of the other cards on Magic Online cost close to nothing or, in some cases, literally nothing

Rather than one clear strategy, this deck gives you a large number of options for overtaking your opponent

Death is a Reanimate for one more mana, but we know how good reanimate has been in tournaments, and of course, Life // Death followed that dynamic in due course after it was printed in Apocalypse

Spells with split second only prevent new spells and activated abilities from going on the stack until those spells resolve, but once the spell with split second resolves, you're free to interact normally with any other spells on the stack
