base set 1 pokemon cards Complete Master Set (102/102) 1999 [MP-DMG] This particular card is a cornerstone of the historic 1999 Base Set A Pokémon Base Set First

Set: Team Up Increase: +$47.43 Current Market Price: $190.90 This card, the base-rarity version of Gengar & Mimikyu-GX, was already up since January thanks to the general boom in Pokmon card collecting in early 2025 together with a buyout on April 28 that raised the average number of copies per buyer to 14.0

You can run this out as a 4-drop, follow up with a proliferate effect or two, and draw some cards

I wonder a little if this type of fun rarity in tabletop games doesnt work for crowdfunding but can work otherwise in select situations

Cards like Mickey Mouse, Detective and One Jump Ahead are the key to sapphires ramp strategy, as they immediately put a card from the top of your deck into your inkwell (you dont get to see what it is and it doesnt matter if the card is inkable)
